The existing support structure made the homeowners think an open ceiling wasn't possible. True2Form found a way to remove the visual obstructions while maintaining the necessary structural support by installing a hidden support beam. The transformation opened up the kitchen and was completed with new quartz countertops for a cleaner, more modern finish.

Before, this kitchen barely felt like part of the house. A full wall sealed it off from the living space, daylight stopped at the doorway, and there was barely enough counter room to prep a meal, let alone have anyone linger while it happened. It's one of the most common frustrations we hear from Tucson homeowners — and one of our favorite problems to solve, because opening up a boxed-in kitchen is exactly the kind of transformation True2Form has built a reputation on.

For this remodel, we tore the dividing wall out completely and rebuilt the space from the studs: new cabinetry throughout, new flooring, new countertops, and a large island anchoring the center of the room. The result is a different kitchen entirely — open sightlines into the living space, light finally reaching every corner, and enough room to cook, gather, and actually live in the space the way the family always wanted to.
